I’m Cenk Torun, based in Istanbul and working across Türkiye and Europe.
I trained as a civil engineer at Istanbul Technical University and started in planning, cost estimation and tendering for large residential and commercial projects in Türkiye and Russia.
In 2002 I moved into business for myself. For eight years I ran a textile manufacturing company in Belgium, supplying workwear and textiles to corporate clients across Europe. Since 2010 I have run CenTor in Istanbul, combining equestrian equipment, custom textiles and turnkey equestrian construction.
Alongside my companies I have mentored early-stage founders at Mentors Network Turkey since 2016 and co-founded a startup at the İTÜ Çekirdek incubator. I most recently worked in technical sales advisory in the solar energy sector.
